"Dying to Live"
NewDay Friends,
Blessed Palm Sunday to you! Celebrate today that you are deeply loved by Jesus! Oh, how I wish we could be together during this time.
Timothy Keller, in his book, The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism, said: “The Christian Gospel is that I am so flawed that Jesus had to die for me, yet I am so loved and valued that Jesus was glad to die for me. This leads to deep humility and deep confidence at the same time. It undermines both swaggering and sniveling. I cannot feel superior to anyone, and yet I have nothing to prove to anyone. I do not think more of myself nor less of myself. Instead, I think of myself less.” This Palm Sunday we celebrate Jesus' commitment to us as he sets His face towards Jerusalem knowing what awaits Him there. He invites us into this journey with Him!
Let Jesus great love for us overflow into our world!
Grateful for you,
John

Good Morning NewDay!
This Sunday we may not be able to gather like those in Jerusalem who watched Jesus ride into their city as they began shouting "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in he name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!" But, we can still praise Jesus together this morning in spirit. Jesus is still king. He's still moving. He did not ask to be spared, instead he asked to glorify the Father. This is always praiseworthy no matter the uncertainty outside.
If you'd like to worship together this morning here are a few songs for us to sing, listen, and praise the Lord with.
