Worship

we are ordinary people seeking after an extraordinary God

We meet for worship at the Rochester Family Y each Sunday @ 9:30am.  Our setting is informal, and we invite you to come as you are.  We sing, we pray, we read Scripture, we listen, we learn, we grow, and we fellowship together.  Nursery is available for kids ages 0-4 years.  During the Worship Gathering, we offer KidsZone for kids ages 5 - 5th grade.

Service & Outreach

life together through discipleship, service & outreach

Our passion for service and outreach flows out of our love for Christ and others as we seek to respond to the needs around us - both in our community and around the world.  Very often, avenues of service & outreach originate from a burden & passion ignited in just one person's heart which spreads to others.  We then discern how we, as a community, can take action as directed by the Holy Spirit.  We recognize that we cannot do all things for all people, so we prayerfully disocver how best to use the resources we've been given.  While we are intentional about service & outreach, we are more about people rather than programs.

we live in COMMUNITY through:

Worship
Small Groups
Service
Providing care during life's milestones (births, deaths, transitions, etc)
Events (Potlucks, "Out to Lunch," activities, and outings - check the calendar!)
Prayer
Deeper Relationships (Check out "NewDay Next Steps")

We minister to one another & our community through:

AWANA
"Make-The-Most-Of-It" Ministry
Friendship Place @ Meadow Park Apartments
The LINK Program with Lutheran Social Services

Global Partnerships Include:

Children's Hope Chest in Ethiopia
Matt & Kristi Florek Family serving in Ethiopia through SIM.
