Following God's Leading

2 Corinthians 2:9-10

9 Another reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything. 10 Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake,

For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets…

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,

and no mind has imagined

what God has prepared
 for those who love him.”

But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit.
2 Corinthians 2:9-10

When we follow Gods leading we are stepping out in faith to trust Him more than we we can immediately see ourselves. Each time God has led me to a major decision in my life it was my dependence on His Spirit’s wisdom that truly gave me direction and peace.

I am so thankful to be part of a church community that has a passion to follow Jesus with all their heart and soul!  The NewDay Leadership Team (Cindi Halleen, Dale Christensen, Jason Rebhahn, Julie Cunningham, and Mickey Hofer) and staff have been evaluating where God might be leading us as a congregation to meet each week for worship and ministry. We have been in conversations with various churches, places, and ministries in our city.  Our goal was to seek God’s leading and to find where we might best collaborate to succeed in our mission, vision, and values. Thank you for your prayers as we have discerned where God is calling us to be at this time.

This Sunday will we come together to worship our Lord Jesus and share His answers to us!
