"Biblical Approaches to Standing With Marginalized Neighbors"

 (based on various OT and NT Scripture passages on caring and standing for the widow,
orphan, poor, and foreigner/stranger).

As we worship God and celebrate our life together at NewDay this week, we will also discover ways we can use our God-given influence to serve, honor, and bless those who are among the most vulnerable and marginalized in our community and nation. We invite you to worship and commune with us as we look for ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus for those on the margins.

Have you ever wanted a "peek behind the curtain" of how policy is made at the national level? Issues impacting the church and those on the margins in our nation? What polling of evangelicals is revealing? Issues that are effective, winnable, and have bipartisan support? Simple ways you can be involved to bless our nation?

We invite you to stay after worship next Sunday (the 25th) for an optional 15-minute For the Health of the Nation session that will address these questions, the possibilities, progress and potential for helpful legislation.
